Does anyone know what technique is used occasionally which takes the very first section of the first word leading into a vocal track and fades it in slowly e.g. when the vocals start on "Dark Like Vader (clubland edit)" and Hixxys remix of Forever by N-Trance

Bit hard to understand what your trying to say, maby uploading a clip of the tracks you've said for us to hear what you mean will give us better info to give you a better answer. I'm not the greatest with vocals but i recently hit a course on Vocals ect so i might be able to help or send you some info..

have you tried adding vocals into fruity slicer? (if you use fruity that is)
