Obviously the video is supposed to be tongue and cheek and is practically supposed to parody old (awful) happy hardcore videos....but despite being a big fan of dutch/german (pengo/arcade) happy hardcore style I'm not a fan of the track.
I appreciate they made it though.
I'm with you. I feel like it's missing those lush synths for a driven melody.
Same. I think a have all Bl?mchens albums and still listen to them. But thats a bit off...

I do remember the days of early youtube and discovering different hardcore from mainly Germany and the Netherlands.
I think from my memory that Blumchen means blossom in english and she was some young teenager at the time of some of the commercial/mainstreams hits ...
i remember Boomerang by blumchen... that's about it.
Thought it was mainly eurodance sort of stuff to be honest

I've always considered Blumchen/Blossom and 1994-1998 Scooter to be more rave/techno-like version of Eurodance than actual Happy Hardcore tbh

Probably won't be everyone's thing as all in German. Has a very 90s sound, she still looks well fit though. Called Herzalarm.
FINCH & BLUMCHEN - "HERZALARM"
Absolute sh!te, couldn't be more cringeworthy.
Scooter meets Vocal gaycore (96 onwards remix)
No idea why, but reminds of this and seeing it at Harmony of Hardcore from Partyraiser
Haha yeah definitely cringeworthy. Most of the German Happy Hardcore was back in the day and still is. I cringe at Scooter these days too.
Would still Shag Blumchen though.
Thats a whole other thread ;) lol
Haha I agree!

I can't ever remember that kind of hardcore being popular in the raves I went to. 94 through 96 didn't hear it at all tbh. You'd get the odd DJ at the smaller events playing Elstak vocal stuff but bare in mind even his vocal stuff was banging when remixed. You had the European HHC scene and then you had the UK version.
Europe
UK Equivalent
The harder remixes were the main tunes back then. Fk they were so good.
Europe

That was an anthem back in the day. Forze stuff was the best.
Yeah Paul Elstak made some total classics back in the day. He is still making bits a pieces now.
