The vocal sample does sound bonkers 15-ish. Like the D-code track, or something. As far as mixdown, your best one yet. (sounds like you moved on from the earbuds!)
I firmly believe that sample selection makes or breaks the track.

I got lucky with those samples, I was digging through tons of modern vocal packs, and out of everything on a cd, I could only get the "goddess effect" as I like to call it, from cutting up those few words.
Trance and happy hardcore are the only genres that I think have it. It's when a singer is pure and innocent in mind and message. I desperately need vocal packs that have it, if anyone knows of any on archive.org let me know.

I tend to overthink my lyrics. perhaps it's something to do with my heavy metal roots.

Hixxy and MC Storm's Accept it came to mind just now when thinking of an example of complex lyrics with innocent pure message.
anyway, I just checked out Techno Storm, loved the melody!
