Right i started producing my first tune about 2 months ago now and after having some spare time on my hands the last few days ive finished that along with 3 others. All 4 are fairly trancey and id appreciate any feedback you can spare. In order of production :
Waves of passion : http://www.mixtapehost.com/~djhoekzema/DJHoekzema__Waves_of_passion__mp3_96kbs.mp3 Journey through time : http://www.mixtapehost.com/~djhoekzema/DJHoekzema__Journey_through_time__mp3_96kbs.mp3 Bounce : http://www.mixtapehost.com/~djhoekzema/DJHoekzema__Bounce__mp3_96kbs.mp3 Stonehenge : http://www.mixtapehost.com/~djhoekzema/DJHoekzema__Stonehenge__mp3_96kbs.mp3 Cheers ---------------------------------------------------------- Find all my mixes at www.intenseradio.co.uk Frank

just finished listening to them all and I think...
excellent mate, the mix downs sound spot on, I think i've heard a few of these before and they were a bit weak in some areas (quiet riffs etc.) but that all sounds sorted now, I especially like waves of passion, it's top.
My only criticsim would be that i'd like to hear a couple with vocal samples in, but thats just my personal preference.
All in all i'd say this was an excellent effort

I downloaded waves of passion, bounce and stonehenge
I loved waves or passion and stonehenge, very chatchy and nicly produced
but I didnt like bounce much, I think it was because I was expecting a diff kind of song from the name.
but over all nice work
well I, I will, I will hardcore

Yes Stonehenge is actually my personal favourite just now. Bounce was a tune that i put togther in about 4 hours and havnt really changed it at all. It just lacks something i think

I've listened to Stonehenge (Strange name for a song I always thought it would be a good name for a sacred place built out of stone! ). It's quite good, not sure about the Nova V-Station sounds, but all in all another great effort.
and I listened to Waves Of Passion, a little on the cheesy side of the trance sound but still a good effort none the less, The general sound of both songs that I've heard so far seems very good, and the production standard is up to sratch.
So keep going on the production front, and of course keep us posted.

goood bass patterns but wrong synth sounds. No offence or anything but how do you expect people to be dancing to low midi quality sounds such as that in stone henge. The bass pattern is heaps good but its a bit far fetched to hear something really cheesy being layered on top of it.
Still good effort.

Despite it being slightly on the cheesy side I actually enjoyed listening to Waves of passion. I'm not too sure about the pitched up high porn samples though but it's a great track regardless . I only had time to download one track, so I can't give a opinion on the other tracks yet.

I have only got the volume 9 scratchplate, which volume of the series is that sample from?
heh , samples sound a lot different , when you hear them being manipulated by the scratchmaster himself, Sy.

I like Stonehedge a lot, very nice job. Only bad part was your leads were out of sync with the kicks at some times, but still awesome nonetheless
