hey im just learning DJing after listening to techno music for about 3 years and hardcore for 1,
if so what records do you recomend or should i just go with what i feel like.
also what record has the lyrics ,
"out of my way im running,im gunna cetch you if i can" ? i think thats them..
if this is in the wrong forum sorry didnt really know where to post it

you should always go with what music moves you instead of listening to what other ppl think is good. what type of hardcore are you looking for old skool or the newer hardcore. i don't know the song to which you posted the lyrics

You should play what you want. That tune is Scott Brown "Chase", if it was a Hardcore tune, otherwise its Kosheen "Catch"...

i am also learning to dj i go looking for the old and new tunes that i like and have heard on compilations and at events i agree play what you like not what others like takes the fun out of it .

yea im more into the enw hardcore stuff and then throwing in a little drumnbass
i bet its teh schott brown one wispering thanks alot dude do you guys knnow where i can get the records from a US site cu i dont exactily have the moeny to buy'em from the UK and ship'em to the middle of the US lol

hard house has to be the easiest to learn on as a gateway to hardcore... the pair are soooooo similar.

If you love "Chase", you will definitely like anything from Evolution Records, Scott Brown, Qtex, Interstate and Plus System. It's all good....It's all Hardcore! Oh and welcome to the forums!
