Got an old Hardcore Heaven tape with Druid djing and sharky mcing. Proppa harsh hardcore, wikkid. Sharkey pulls a mooney to the crowd, it all goes abit quite for a sec. He always seems proppa messed in his sets.

hey rizla dont spoze it was hardcore heaven the return in 96. he always is mashed dats y!!lol, he used to mek me laff, he give sthe crowd summat ova mc's cant, it mex it gr8 coz hes jus a raver who can mc n not an mc who can do rave.

ive never heard Sharky MC, but id love to hear him. if hes as good at it as his DJing, (and he is im sure) then hes got to be amazing.

I dont think his all that a djing. I hasven't heard loads of his tapes like other djs but I heard him make more mistakes than any other dj.

sharkey went downhill in dj-ing i think,bonkers 2 and 3 there was hardly any mistakes,4 and 5,plenty of double beating but he always recovers well when he screws up

ive never seen him live...only heard the bonkers cd's. number 3 was the bomb. i know what you mean though, live is alot different than studio.

v.true. on my first gig,back when i had my 13 year old citronics, i played brilliant,on 1210's which i wasn't used to. next day,round at my mate's place,went on his 1210's and f***ed up loads of mixes.ppl definitely play better live and i've experienced that for myself

I'm a firm believer in Sharkey, and after meeting him at Hindsight (UK, southwest promotors), I know exactly where he's coming from. Before his set, I asked one of the MC's (Bass MC) if I could meet him and Sharkey came over and I chatted to him for about 20 minutes. His music is excellent and his DJ'ing is fairly good live aswell.
I'll be honest and say that I reckon he is hardcore's best producer because he has the most excellent chord build ups, breakdowns and everything and although they may not fit in completely with the stereotypical sacharrine fuelled anthems he does have an excellent style of production.
The best thing about him is he's so friendly to the fan's, he's cheeky as **** on the mic, and he's right in the scene.
Another thing I've found in general is that SL1210's arent always consistant. We all sound pretty cool on our own kit and sometimes adjusting to different decks can be a harsh experience...
But yeah, if anyone wants a journey-istic hardcore track with an awesome buildup get the album version of "Product Of Society (Hardcore Society Mix)".

Pah~! you're complaining about sharkeys mixing on later bonkers? what about hixxys mixing on number 4? theres jogging and bad melody clashes all overt the joint! Check out the mix between Power of love and Distant skies...
But Hixxy is awesome anyway (when he plays hardcore) so I cant complain if he does a couple of duff mixes...

yeah that's true as well,but all dj's make mistakes on their sets at least once (apart from dougal,haven't ever heard him screw up a mix yet)
