In my own sort of way I'm with you on this Ionosphere.
Being Human imo is about making your own interpretations.Being Christian is about beleiving there is a superior power when you come to realize not all your interpretations are accurate.

Christians realise this.
Religions that go back to the dawn of human history realise this.
Why?
.....because our interpretations, that is our opinions, are usually based on 'self'.
How something relates to one's self, affects one's self, threatens one's self, pleases one's self.....Selfish.
Narrow of vision and therefore usually wide of the mark.
We are all entitled to our own opinion but it doesn't mean that we're right.
When people pull their heads out of their own arses only then do they begin to see the bigger picture.
.......I could be wrong.

But, why would you want to poison a culture with some idealistic views on higher power! If you believe in any higher powers than thats your thing. Don't get religion mixed up with music. For the people qouting songs on what "sounds to be close to being religious" just stop! I mean those are just words of happiness or whatever. Don't over analyze things. I never once thought of a happy hardcore or hardcore song to have religious undertones. For that guys girlfriend if she doesn't except the rave culture than thats her sh!t don't make anothe rbranch of hardcore due to her hang-ups on a awesome culture.

Spot on there Ionosphere
Ecstatic: Not sure if that was aimed at me about poisoning culture, but yeah, you couldn't have been wider of the mark mate . I was just offering a different point of view to the standard "all rave songs are written about ecstasy". Different songs mean different things to different people depending on where you were, who you were with and what you were going through in your life at the time when you first heard the song.
People should be free to make whatever music they like, listen to whatever music they like and interpret music in whatever way they like. Its not up to you, me or Bruce Forsyth to tell people what they should and shouldn't make, listen to or how to interpret stuff - all you can do is show people how you see stuff and hopefully open peoples eyes to something new rather than try and close everybody's eyes to something you want to protect. Thats just my view on life though, and who knows, maybe I'm wrong
blackcrow: me neither heh

dont even go there if the lyrics wernt meaninfull it would be fine but it just gets a bit annoying with it all cause they are so off putting to the great tune in the backrground while some hearless oversized women is killing a great song with her voice destroy the religious vocals

No, not at all. I see what your saying! Because that is so true on how interpret any style of music. But, again I wasn't I was just typing in generalities.<3

If a song mentions heaven in it, it doesnt make it religous at all. Its all about the intent of the song.
