i had an idea for a hard but uplifting HHC choon ages ago but never got round to doing anything about it:
If anyone has seen "The Green Mile" theres a wicked line in there that would sound pretty cool in any dance music track.
basically, the bits i was going to sample was when when the guy in the cell
p!sses on that other felllas leg and says "ha-ha - p!ss on you!"
which is followed shortly by "You piss on me?!" and then some uplifting synths kick in.
But what is the best way to take audio samples off a TV?? what way would achieve the best quality??

If anybody has seen from dusk till dawn... I am working on a song using the speech about pussy that cheech was saying lol. I started out messin around but its comin along pretty good. Something I like to do with vocals is take different sources and make sentences. If you have ever heard the gabber track Hardcore Chicago at the part where it says "We are from hardcore chicago you pussy mother f*cker" you know what I am talkin about. In the song I am making now I have it say "F*ck smelly chicken pussy" lol
I used to be a raver, used to take lots of E. Now I just smoke weed, and you know I will Succeed. :)

Whatever way you do get your ideas, always make sure you have a system of geting the ideas from head to paper, too many times have I thought of a great lryic, song, or idea and poof it was gone 20 mins later because I was distracted or some aweful song came along and took the beat out of my head. So basically I always carry a notebook and through a process I am able to write the lryics and below the lryics I use periods to represent the tone of the beat. It may seem corny but thats just an idea of how you can simply remember them.
