Hey people...
ok so as it stands the only vinyl i own is Blaze! 'til the day ;)
now that i have jobs and such (also why i'm not here nearly as often as i'd like)... i have a bit of money :)
and so! i spent hours going through samples, n making lists, and am finally gonna make an order :)
it'll come in close to 250 dollars... which for me is substantial, lol (sadly)
and no small part of that is shipping (damn uk-->canada shipping rates)
hehe
anyhoo!!! I e-mailed the feller at the store, and he has everything all held for me till i get muh credit card payment in, and confirm the order in the next few days ;)
I just felt the need to make a post, and... show y'all what i decided to make my first order. Tried if nothing else to get a bit of a smattering of some slightly differant stuff, never too many off the same label etc...
And... yeah tell me what you think :)

Well....1st time I bought vinyl was for decorating (hihihi, I know silly me)
But I kinda got addicted, and now I spent around 300€, but I have to cut back *been starvin a bit*
And no, I don't use them for deco anymore...I actually play them now.
Off the wall they came...though they looked pretty cool hangin on the wall.
I'm 41,47727272727273 % insane!!!

the WOW! WHAT A RUSH collection is a very good choice.... all awesome tunes and very dj-friendly - good for learning on. otherwise a nice little selection of tunes...
just a suggestion of things you may already know but i'll tell you just in case (to save you some heartache):
with final chance #006, the version of pleasure and pain is NOT the good one that is featured on happy2Bhardcore, the mix is fairly poor IMO, is slow and fairly weak. eternity on the flipside is the older version, much worse productionage (and choonage IMO) than on the version you'll get on WOW WHAT A RUSH.
same goes for wonderful world on JAL - it's not the version on happy2Bhardcore, but the version on WOW WHAT A RUSH is.
i probably look like an idiot now because you already know this stuff, but it has happened to people i know that they buy the wrong remixes when they start out, so i just thought i'd say anyway.
prepare to spend alot more money on it dude.... it will seriously take over your bank account.

yah, pacman is right, those mixes certainly aren't the greatest ones out there. but a very nice selection indeed, some top tunes in that batch for sure.

and yeah i saw that they wheren't the happy2bhardcore mixes, and i can tell from the sample their weaker, but i was like, bah, i wanna hear em :)
couldn't help it, some names just draw me in :)

yeah the wow what a rush thing looked like.. hey! that looks like a good thing to own for me...
silver of course i have every intention of getting MWX002/3 but y'know, till their out and available nice n easily, no dice ;)
actually it may postpone my getting em for a while, just cuz i wanna always buy several vinyl at a time... cuz of postage being the devil lol... and i only have so much money! ;)
as it stands, i don't have decks, i'm just ordering theres for the shere enjoyment of giving em a listen, collecting em, and hopes that someday ill have money and time to learn ta dj hehe ;)
that's the plan
figure if i keep buying a lil bit here n there as time goes on, eventually i'll have at least enough to learn :)

^^^ I'm guessing UK stores first right?? When I bought Til the Day from IMO, the Subsonic Underground didn't get it till 2 months after I received my copy in the mail (haha, promo!). I wish all vinyl was released all around the world at the same time.

ie. wish there was a shop here that carried some hardcore, would save wickedly on shipping
my current order at nuenergy now (added THUMB 001 and 002) is prolly gonna be in around 80-90 dollars... *sigh*

Ahh kids, weren't you listening in Drug Education class when they told you to stay away from pot, coke, heroin, xtc and VINYL?
Seriously, it's the most addictive substance known to man, and it'll do more damage to your finances than pills could every dream of ... it's a good thing I have someone else buying the s*** for me =)
