but your saying about how you act once you've taken offense - that doesnt stop you taking offence in the first place.
you can still take offence and not do anything.
which is what they are saying - Ai doesnt think you can change the fact you were offended - the only thing you can change is how you act once you have been offended - how you choose to react will define you as a person to those around watching you.

Maybe but if u take offence then its because it bothers/upsets u. If u take offence and say/do nothing then it hasnt bothered/upset u therefore u havnt really taken offence

politicians are offended all the time, they arent allowed to say anything back because of their positions of power, so they say nothing - that doesnt mean they didnt take offence.
