ok well im new here so im not sure if this goes here, dont bite my head off
so i want to start DJing, i fell in love with hardcore, happyhardcore, Dn'B, and dubstep a few years ago. ive been "trying" to mix on DJ programs on then comp, and i got it down somewhat. so im looking to get a real set! =]
im looking at spending around $1,500 (us) getting a job soon when i turn 16 lol.
i really want some cdj's or timecoded vinyls, a mixer, monitors/speakers, and all the things i need.
i dont really want vinyls (space is a problem)
im looking to spin happyhardcore and and hardcore, if there is any mixer that are better for that...
so yeah any help, just try to make it under 1,500.
thanks
**also sorry if i spelled anything wrong the spell check is not working**
edit: links are way better for me...

Pioneer dont tend to make anything bad really so Id definitely look into them. People will tell you to steer clear of Numark, gemini and Stanton, although I have stanton decks and they are quality, so its all preference.

If you plan on using vinyl.....get technics
CDJs - Pioneer

Other than that, Vestax is a good make too.

If you are also wanting to buy some music to burn onto a cd to play on your cd decks, check out:

I own NSR records and they are our releases so far and for the time being they are all just 79p each on IMO.

As for a mixer, dont get anything to flash or fancy, you need a decent crossfader and I tend to enjoy killswitches. Just look around and see what you think looks more your thing. Or try and have a go on friends equipment

if i had to recommend ANY cdj's id definately reccomend the industry standard Pioneers CDJ 1000 MKIII's but i really think that would be out of your price range with everything else u need for your setup!

someone said before me stay clear of numarks, but i've got Numark Axis9 cd decks, and they are the best you can get in the price range, aprox £450 for a pair. many many features, effects, bpm counter, auto sync capability ect ****in wicked buy. i'd say dont buy second hand cd decks asm a general rule but its up to you

Take a look at http://www.decks.co.uk

I know its a UK website but they have soooo much stuff on there, just have a look around, pick a few cdjs and a few mixers that you like the look of and are in your price range and just write their names down and post them on here and ask what people think of them and chances are somebody will own a couple of them
