say you want to throw in a sample of someone going "HEY!" or whatever, you can just use the punch button instead of ****ing with the crossfader.... also my friend uses it to scratch... but besides that i donno :)

punch buttons also allow u to do this, say for e.g. u have a track vocal going some body scream , u could make it go like this somebody s-c-r-e-a-m by pressing the punch buttom repeatedly.
Its a preety coool effect if u ask me but u gotta have goood vocals,

and youve got to know what to do with it, and limit it also.. after awhile it could get annoying
