I think writing lyrics is one of the hardest things to do, at least for me, I guess is a matter of natural talent

Lyrics are hard to write if they are pointless. They aren't hard to write if you actually have something to express.

As Hard2Get said theyre only hard if they mean nothing to you.
Try thinking of something that means something to you. Your first love, a significant moment or realisation in your life and the words will just flow (make sure you always have a pencil and paper handy i usually get inspired when im stuck in work  ). Write whatever comes into your head the moment it does, then play about with the outcome a bit to structure it into a song. Simple.
And keep a UK Hardcore rhyming dictionary handy too.
"Alright" rhymes with "night". "Okay" rhymes with "day" etc.

I've tried writing when I was really emotional and it didn't help
Lyrics aren't my thing, but I think you can learn to write them well

ah theyre easy to write when you feel great or like absolute crap, nothing in between, tbh i dont think writing them is the hard part, its recording the bastard things perfectly and sorting them out, hours and hours of playing about with them makes me wanna eat my studio and go out and enjoy the weather
