ello fellow mad hardcore nuttazsh!
Not sure if it's a term or condistion to introduce your self on a forum like others do but I'll do it anyway...kick it...
I'm Mike, probably the only 17 year old in my little village making happyhardcore on a neat little software called Orion Pro. Have a site but no music up YET....First got into HHC when a mate at highschool lent me his tape after playing it on the mini bus. it was a dougal set (Helterskelter millenium jam) what a set it was. I never knew what the HHC thing was anyway but it got me hooked, I played the tape everynight for a month!
Yesturday I bought the awaiting Bonkers 8/rezurrection.....first reaction is I THINK IT SUCKS BIG TIME i'm affraid to say. My reasons are the new HHC sound is not happy at all, it's uplifting trance at 175BPM not HHC!!! I much prefur the mid 90s classic HHC with its chipmonk vocals - Proper overdrive kicks and crazy cheesey pianoline etc. my fave track of all time is Eyeopener.
You do know there are probably shitloads of 17 year olds making Happyhardcore on their PC :o)

I, most def. agree with you. I like the old school HHC better. When you put up music on the net, lemme know I wanna hear some of the stuff you can make on pc programs....

you say that you don't like the uplifting trance sound but yet you have down as you're favorite label evolution plus which sounds awfully trancey to me...

The record lable evolution plus has gone down hill but scott brown has got back to his studio more trying out new stuff with DJ Brisk. but yeh E-plus is gonna be real trancy
I have now suck sesfully lol uploaded 2 of my tracks (I was the one who started this thread by the way) to my site www.dr-ingredientz.i12.com but don't expect happyhardcore yet, still in the making of one but I've got a gabba tune up and a freeform one all done on Orion Pro

I noticed theirs quite a few USA people here. now correct me if I'm wrong but I thought USA hated dance/electronic music and they were more into rock/metal (?) even tho USA inveneted techno around 1987 with a tb303 and a tr909 only!

bahaha umm what? i used to love metal back when metallica was good =P most of the stuff coming out now a days sounds like a grizzly bear singing along with a bunch of mashed up riffs =P
i think you're going to find people in any country who hate/dislike electronic music. you can find these people undoubtably with there catch phrase "it all sounds the same." i think there is too much of a variety in the music not to like it. except trance, that all sounds the same to me =P

BAdBoy your so silly.... any who... theres a lot of ppl in the us that hate electronic music...but I am sure there are a lot of ppl in the UK that hate electronic music too...electronic music is prolly jus more popular main stream in the UK... like any where else your gonna find ppl who hate certain genres of music....imo I actually hate heavy metal and rock music...I mostly listen to electronic music and some classical music
