I made a quick mix yesterday afternoon using my vinyl (first time for a long time) and one CD deck. The mixing is a bit ropey in places but it was a total throw together mix and on three decks too!

I'll have some of that!

Currently juggling loads of music between my new/old laptops and new/old phones so will have a listen asap.

Tbh I'm not sure about the tracks if I like them or not, but there's absolutely no doubt that I like every single transition, they are tight and proper! Spot on

Thanks Mellow-Dee, some of the transitions are a bit off but not so much as to ruin it I think. It's my first attempt at a mix using vinyl for a few years so it's bound to have a few errors.

Talent never goes away mate, very nicely done indeed. Considering how crap a lot of old hardcore sounds and how hard it is to mix i reckon you can be pleased with that.

Rusty or not, i'd happily pass it off as my own work!

Hahaha cheers mate.

Funnily enough I was talking to Kath tonight about how much different it is to mix 96-00 hardcore than it is mixing today's hardcore. Although the time signature is the same it's a totally different kettle of fish mixing wise.

Word! Tried to mix some older stuff but I totally failed. Another big up for this mix coz you played the old ones and kept the flow. Listening to that mix 3rd time now I still wait for the part where you're going off-beat.... *lol*

Btw do you play new hhc and freeform too?
