its hard to say, i perfer the look of the second, but others perfer the first, try to get to a place where you can see a demonstration or use the equipment, its a personal choice really

Erbl is right.
Those two set ups are close to being the same. I prefer the Gemini tables myself. But I wouldn't go for a Gemini mixer. But it sounds like a great deal you are getting.

ok, thanx guys, looks like i'll be getting the numark package then because i am use 2 using numarks, and if the pair that my m8 got (Dj Solstice) they have lasted him ages! and he has had no serious problems with them....well, apart from a dodgy crossfader!

You'd be better off with a 2nd hand pair of technics. They will last you forever unless you throw them down the stairs. Otherwise you'll only upgrade in a year or 2. It'll be better in the long run to get them now. Look on Ebay for a couple of days or any 2nd hand place. You'll get a mixer and leads etc thrown in as well

i think you would be lucky to find techies alone for £400, let alone with a mixer. i am not saying give it a try, but dont set your sights on techies, i dont think you will find them myself
