Uprising Digital is a new label from myself and Dave Devastate.
This will be an outlet for our brand new material alongside many previously unreleased tracks and the Uprising/Rebirth/Higher Order back catalogue, all remastered fresh for 2011.
We'll also be releasing music from other artists which are making quality tracks.
The music policy is simply tough, energetic and dancefloor friendly underground dance music. Covering UK Hardcore, Freeform, Gabber, Rave Breaks and Uptempo Hard Trance.
The music will be available via our own website and also on all the major digital download sites. Such as Trackitdown, Juno Download, Hard Beats Download, iTunes, Beatport, Amazon MP3, Dancetunes.com and many more.
These are the first 2 releases which are scheduled for March/April 2011.
We will be releasing at least 1 4 track EP every month and have some very exciting material lined up!

hardcore terrabeat remastered woot. I guess it beats the digital version on one of them hardcore compilation discs I got.
hows it going with the backcat?

Im making good progress with the back cat.. some tracks are being remixed/reworked completely and others just mastered.
Ive added quite a few to Soundcloud so far but holding back many more so not to overwhelm people. Same with new material.. theres quite a few bits ive not made public yet ;)
As for Terrabeat.. Theres quite an interesting\geeky story from remastering that one!
When i loaded up the original mixdown from 2001 (taken from Daves backup) i found a glitch in the track.
At first thinking this was due to it being stored on a cdr i decided to get hold of that unmixed compilation in hope of finding a non glitched copy.. Only it turned out the one on that album had some quite dodgy mastering, was completely mono and still had the glitch!
I checked the vinyl copy and all others i had and the glitch was present on all of them.
In the end i managed to remove the glitch from the original and then master it.. Its now sounding much heavier, clear and punchy than any previous version. Considering its 10 years old it sounds good with modern tracks.
If your interested in spotting the glitch its during the triplet breakdown. Just after the bit where Sharkey says "Breath ya ****er" Theres a couple of bars with the lead synth and vocals, then on the next couple without vocals you'll hear one of the synth notes stutter. (if you listen to the soundcloud clip it was around 2:17)

Just after or just before? I think I hear something just when the synth dies?
Scratch that :P In the version I got, I can clearly hear a small skip at 3:56 (my track is 6:46 long), and yea, it should have been around 2:17 on the soundcloud clip
