Good work on all this new release info you've been digging up recently man.
You should get them all on the main news page (which as you know has been a hot topic of conversation lately). I saw that you added the MOB & Enemy promo mix to the news page.
Out of curiosity, how can you do it? I know the "Add news" function exists, but is there any way to add/link existing forum threads to the news page? For example, the Hardcore Energy 2 release is definitely news worthy, and I was thinking of submitting it to the news page - but I didn't want to re-write it all, and I'm not quite sure how it works with regards to adding the "click to discuss this resource link".
So, basically, I'm confused about a) Can you deploy pre-existing forum threads in the News section, and b) If not, how do you add the "click to discuss this resource" link when adding a brand new News article?
Maybe I should have whacked this in a brand new topic - then everyone would know how to do it and can start contributing (providing you pull all these answers out the bag, Stu! lol).

What you need to do is submit the news and the "editor" (I presume Silver) will review the link and then do the rest, linking to the forum etc. The thing is not all of the news submitted gets accepted as front page news. I've added quite a few to the news page but so far only the MOB & Enemy album has been posted. I'm not sure if it's lack of time on Silvers part or the fact that they don't meet the criteria. Maybe Silver needs a news mod or if their is a news mod then we might need another or maybe we need clear guide lines on what will be accepted and what won't be?

Just having a look around now and it doesn't look like we have a thread regarding submitting news i.e. a guide on how to do it, what will be accepted/criteria, who moderates/adds the news...
