Although things may have seemed a bit quiet in the Elation camp over the summer, behind the scenes there has been a great deal of rather interesting things going on!
First up - Elation 002 hits the shops today! (09/29/02)
The A-side sees Stargazer's first of many tracks forthcoming on Elation - 'Released'. A quality trance-influenced stormer which is a favourite of Sy, among others, and is a fantasic dance floor track which has also been in the Tidy Trax top ten curtesy of DJ GRH. Great appeal across the whole dance music spectrum.
The B-side sees Ruffage whip out another stunning piece to follow on from 'Paradise', this time alongside Mannik with a quality, original acid-freeform breakbeat roller. 'They're Coming' is totally unique and would stand out a mile in any set, whatever your taste and style.

However, the big news comes in the form of Elation's first album -
'The David Complex' to be released early Decemeber. Mixed by DJs Ponder & HB, the album is our attempt to look at Hardcore and Hard Dance music in a fresh and original way. The album will include new and totally exclusive material from the likes of CLSM, Sy & Unknown, Ting, Ponder, DOK, Uplift, Stargazer, HB, Lost Soul, Tom U4ea and James F, and will cover the whole spectrum of Harcore and more, taking the music to the extreme and beyond!
As you may have noticed, Elation are very proud to now have Ting involved within the group. A veteran of Hard House Academy, Tidy London, Tsunami, Torture Garden, and many many more, shes certainly making big waves with her uncompromising style and ethos, and will be making loads of quality tunage for Elation and more over the coming months.
'The David Complex' will be launched with an album tour coming to events around England, which will include parties such as Raindance, and a pre-launch party at Cyberdog's Camden store in early December.

The release of Elation's first album will be celebrated in true style on December 14th when Elation touches down at the Electrowerkz (London) for another quality night of underground dancefloor musicology. The full line-up and event details for this party will be announced shortly, but we can reveal that there's certainly some new ideas and concepts coupled with Elation's expected quality vibe.

Finally, Elation 001 (DOK & Ponder - Faces Of Angels) is almost sold out, just a couple of copies are still lying about, so make sure to pick one up if you still havent got it - time's running out!
