Well its a new year and with that comes many new exciting projects. The last couple of months here at NSR we have been trying to think what we have done over the last 2 and a bit years that have been successful and what more we can do to build on that.
Of course at the tail end of the year we had a website overhaul and included a free downloads page to allow us to give you some quality free releases as well as our 'official' releases. We have now added a new track this morning to that page, so please check out the free downloads page at the link below:

New Free Track: Orion Too Ft Caitlin - Travelling (X-Cyte Hardcore Remix)
Furthermore we feel the need to continue with our CD releases. All has been quiet from us for about 12 months on the CD front, due to a number of factors, but we can now announce that a brand new CD release will be available from NSR in about 3 weeks from now with pre-orders opening next week!
The CD will be entitled 'NSR Presents: Future Hardcore' and will feature 12 full length unreleased tracks signed to NSR. The CD will contain a handful of well known names, a couple of new faces and some NSR regulars and will act as a way for us to display the direction that the label is heading in over the next couple of years. The CD will be very limited edition with no represses.
The artwork, tracklist and clips will be up next week, and pre-orders will open on the same day. The CD will be very reasonably priced too!
Finally I can also announce that after the CD release we will also be releasing a huge sample pack at a budget price! This will be ideal for all producers of hardcore at a beginner or intermediate level. Most sample packs cost the same that a couple of CDs would cost you, ours will be much cheaper and should also contain one or two nice surprises that the average sample pack doesnt give you. So keep an eye out for that!
Of course, aswell as the above there is the launch of Fusion Music which is accepting submissions of Dubstep, Electro, House, Trance etc and also NSR is on the lookout for new submissions from UK hardcore and breakbeat artists. So if you are interested on having your stuff released on a growing label. Hit the website and get in touch!

Yeeeeah, awesome news. Nice one Craig. Much respect for whacking out another physical CD.
Is this going to be just the twelve unmixed tracks - a la Hardcore Explosion? Or is there a DJ mix as well?
How many CDs are getting pressed? Do you reckon you'll sell the whole run? I might have to bend my financial rules and invest in a copy. I'm still out in Asia for the next six months or so and on a tight budget, but don't like the idea of missing out on this!
Also, cheers for the free track. Will grab it now. Feedback to follow.
And, I dunno if you've checked your calendar recently, but it's the second of March - not entirely sure it's acceptable to be saying "It's a new year..." n all that. :-)

Cheers :) I felt that the label has to keep pushing ahead with the CDs even if the last one didnt do aswell as I would have liked, as its what sets us apart from most other digi-labels.
Yes it will be the same format as Hardcore Explosion, 1 disc of unmixed tracks. But the quality of music will be far far better. This will be a really awesome collection of tracks! The reason there is no DJ mix is because I wanted to keep this project entirely NSR tracks (no licensing from other labels) for it to act as a showcase of our talent and the direction we are taking the music.
We are pressing just 100 copies, and fully expect to sell them all. If we dont sell them all it will be a crime, especially with the quality of music that will be on and the price it will cost. (these 12 tracks already on disc will cost about the same as it costs to download 5 individual tracks from a download site).
Finally....I know, I cant believe its March already! I keep thinking its still only just turned the new year lol. We are still in Q1 at least :p
