Like it a lot mate. Good work.

If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be that when the beat comes in at 1m23s, it sounds a little like it's come out of nowhere. Maybe if you just carried on that echoey vocal for a few more bars?

Other than, sounds awesome man. Wonder what the girls and boys on the dancefloor would make of it lol

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah mate I've kinda got a bit of everything in there, dya think it works alright or does it conflict a bit?

Cheers Jay mate, Now that you mention it, I've thought of an idea to filter the kicks in at that point, which should make it a bit smoother......ah the wonderful world of feedback!!

Nice one lads

I agree with Jay on that section, my advice would be to bring the filtered kicks in at 1:12 because the section from 1:12 - 1:23 seems a little pointless. If the kick and hat is filtered together at that point through to the drum roll at 1:29 it would sound much better imo. Maybe even slap in a filtered bass at the same time but keep it filtering until 1:33.

Just my thoughts. The rest of it is pretty decent as always.

Sounding much better.

I've just thrown up a very quick example of what I was trying to explain: http://www.hardcore-events.co.uk/mixes/bood%20sample.mp3

Obviously with a little bit longer taken on the filtering etc but you should get the idea I was trying to explain.

Just listened to it there mate, thats exactly how I heard it when you explained it really....In my tune, I kept the 1 bar drop out of kick and hats half way through because I like the way it sounds with the sweeps, then has even more impact when it comes back in.

I have actually got the bass filtered as well but its probably not as obvious as its sidechained to the kick and is more of a rolling bassline than an offbeat...

But all in all, works a treat. Thanks for the feedback man :)

Sounding very good mate. Like the changes.

Who is Mozz by the way, on YouTube? I know he's been around for years, just wondering if he's anyone people know? Or literally just a dude the loves uploading hardcore tunes?

just someone that posts peoples tracks on youtube. he puts his favourite music up, aswell as bigger releases in the scene. He's shown a bit of favouritism toward people like Gisbo, Ganar, Pex L. Nought wrong with it, hes just supporting his friends :)

Nice mate, liking this. I think the bass doesn't have enough low end, crank that up a bit. At about 2:54 the sped up sample doesn't quite sit right. Have you tried doing it at half that speed? Just a thought, might be too slow but worth trying.

Haha. He does love uploading hardcore like. Numero uno hardcore uploader in the birtish isles Ive heard.

I've just started speaking to him recently, it could well be the mozz who has a few releases to his name!

Cheers for the feedback gary....I actually increased the lower frequencies after this version...Which frequencies dya think need boostin? round 100hz? Reckon I need to cut off anything lower than that??

About the sample at 2:54....to be honest mate, I think its spot on, It would sound too slow at half speed. Its one of those vocals that at its original tempo is right in between 85 and 170 bpm, so either way its guna sound really slow or really fast. It would be better suited to hard dance really but i'm all about the core ;) Cheers man

Ah pain man. Maybe just drop that section and do something else? It just doesn't sound right IMO.

regarding the lower frequencies... I mean just on the bass, not on the kick btw. I wouldn't cut off anything from the bottom personally. I never low cut basses and kicks. It needed more around 30hz-80hz(ish). it had very little sub frequency compared to the kick.
