Hey Guys & Girls.

Right this Topic has more than likely come up before.

Basically is Mp3 320 enough for a live set, iv played out a few time before Only on Vinyl tho.

Is Wav a lot better, personally i cant tell the diffrence :L lol

On a half decent system you could probably get away with 192 so 320 is perfectly ok. I too find it hard to see a massive difference in that and WAV

What format is Vinyl?

Also reason why i'm asking iv just been asked by a good mate to play a 2hour set, But he doesnt have any vinyl decks to setup lol

You would think the club has Technics Huh

spectrum-wise, a vinyl can have more than PCM (the standard format for Microsoft Wave files) I think. By standards, a CD is only 16 bits 44kHz, while depending on the recording, a vinyl should be able to contain more
