Found out this morning that my place at Portsmouth University has been confirmed!
Over the moon because its bee a bumpy ride to this point. Such a relief to have absolutely no pressure.
Of course, it probably brings an end to my producing days, but I had a good innings...
Leave the 17th of September to roll on Freshers!

I'm sure he'll still get time - my wife is full time university, and she still finds time to laze around the house, not tidying, putting the washing on, doing the washing up or cleaning the car out

Yes, everybody knows from this thread that your wife has too much free time...
Have fun Acidfluxxbase! I needed 5 years to find out, that university simply isn't my world.

So do I. I really wish I'd taken education seriously.

+1 for not stopping producing
It would be such a shame if you full on stopped, I mean I know you will be much or busy now, but don't give it fully up.
Laddergoat is like EASILY in my top 10 tunes of all time, I freaking love it

Congrat's mate, that's awesome. :) I'm sure you'll end up making a cheeky track here and there when you get the time!

Nah, never too late. I've had a guy in my classes since I started this degree, and he's definitely older than you :)
Also, Olly, you don't have to quit producing, unless you plan to spend every single free minute doing homework :p

Thanks everyone.
On the producing topic, its impossible to look beyond September. Being a Graphic Design student, hopefully I'll have a new Mac Laptop to use as they're industry standard. That means I'll have something like 100GB of files to move off of this PC onto that, then arrange it all so the VST's are installed, Samples ready to go and ect, then I have to see if FL even works on Mac's, and if it doesnt, I dont really want to fork out on Logic, then search the web high and low for 100's of Mac compatible VST's. Also, I dont want to be bedroom bound producing for 6 hours a night. I produced Laddergoat at the climax of my college course and it almost ruined me even finishing that particular course.
Obviously I'll try, because I love it and its an avid hobby. :)

If you want to use VSTs then you'll need Cubase for a Mac.
Cubase is excellent and you can ask for it as a Christmas present. Sorted.
