I'm really digging this new sound and really hope it filters into hardcore productions. Has pretty much over taken Trance and Electro as the new big genre at festivals. Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Avicii seeem to all be pushing it in a big way.

Does have similarities, but is categorized as Big Room House. Production is alot sharper than upfront and higher pitched as well as different cords and basslines.

Don't know why but anything classed as 'Big Room' doesn't fit my taste. Is there such a thing as 'Big Room' HHC?

I guess it's called Big Room is becuase it's played at on the main stage or room at most large scale dance festivals. There seems to be alot of it being released in Australia.
