Really?! Always been a clear difference in my mind! Maybe that's just how I personally separate them? Dunno.
Well now that you've mentioned it i think you are right. I just never noticed. I have used the terms interchangeably in the past i think. Or at least i have referred to live sets as mixes. Maybe not the other way around.

That has been a favourite set since I first heard it, never left my iPod in years, I'd kill for some of the tracks on there but you just can't buy them, or so it seemed last time I checked. I asked Shimamura on Facebook a good while back about the possibility of grabbing a few of them old tracks, but I never got a response.

Yeah, some ridiculous tunes in there.
Have you heard the other mixes in the series? I've got them all if you're interested and haven't got them already.

Yeah, top tune. I think the track from 48 minutes onwards is my favourite. Absolutely huge. I think it's Sweetest by Buzzmasta.

Aye, cheers, I got them up when they first went up, this one is the best though, definitely.

Trying to get in his pants? If so then you did the right thing. I've heard that this works.

Ha ha! I do genuinely love his sets and mixes, and I would very much like for him to be playing at some big events - regularly - sooner rather than later. He's like Thumpa (not in terms of style - but in terms of being a very fcuking good DJ that doesn't play his own music). Raves need more sets like Ben's.
Dave (Ripley) text me during the week and said "Fcuk me Ben Claxton is a banging DJ!". He's not bloody wrong!
You should come and find out for yourself next weekend. :-)

You could not be more right about DJ's that don't play their own tunes. More often than not they are more interesting sets because of it.
