Woteva guys! The only thing I can say now is that if Hixxy 'flies off the handle to easily' then thats his problem. All he's trying to do is produce music that people will listen to and buy and make a living out of it.
And strychnine, am i **** trying to start an argument. I dont do that especially with other hardcore ravers. That is something I refuse to do. At the end of the day, in your opinion Hixxy isnt the best and flies off the handle too easily? And also, Raver Baby to you hasnt helped move the scene forward?? Am I right? Is this your opinion? If so, fine. You're entitled to it!
Oh and on your last post wen u wrote 'all you need to do is think about it logically. Hixxy is the best'. Cant you read?? I wrote a full sentence before that which read '.. Raver Baby helped move the scene forward. That and alot of Scott Brown's work on Evolution but you have to see this! If you cant its very narrow minded of you and all you need to do is think about it logically'.
'Hixxy is the best' came after that AND is my opinion. Is that more understandable for you now!!!? Or do you need to go on about it a little bit more coz to tell you the truth, its boring me now!!

As for the rest of your reply ... bleh bleh f***ing bleh. You're basically just repeating shit and putting an argumentative spin on it. Conclusion: you're either trying to start an argument, or you're smarting that someone picked up on your nasty opinion-as-fact habits.
BTW: at no time in my last couple of replies have I expressed my opinion on whether Hixxy is the best or anything like that - I've just been pointing out that your opinion isn't the only one, and you shouldn't be stating it as if it were incontrovertible fact. You really shouldn't be so ready to get defensive ...

Like I said Im bored of this now! Say what you like, I love Hixxy (my opinion) and as far as im concerned he is the bollox (my opinion)! If you dont think this then fair enough! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Im not trying to start an argument, really Im not!
I made a big deal of this because I've loved Hixxy as a producer and a DJ since the first sets he ever played and it hurts me that people can turn around and critisise his music and contribution to the scene which he loves being a part of. Hixxy created Raver Baby for us and he created it in a time of need in the scene. This is why I believe that Hixxy and Raver Baby have moved the scene in a forward motion.
I hope this explains this a bit better for you all. Sorry if you thought I was trying to start an argument, Im not. I just fell very strongly about this thats all!

As for everything else, feel free to feel as strongly about it as you want, and to express your feelings and opinions as such - just don't try to pass them off as fact. Doing so makes them flame-bait, and you really can't then complain when the flames start coming.

i have nothing but the utmost respect for Hixxy.
i may hate the kickdrum hes been using of late with a passion.
but that doesnt mean i dont respect him.

I don't know Hixxy at all but he did come out to Aberystwyth to play a night for us which was pretty cool considering its miles away from anywhere, check it on a map!!! That place was one of the end's of the world which he and Sharkey got to which is more than Dougal did, but then he had been before so he probably knew what he would be letting himself in for. Has anyone else paid £8 to get into a night that only goes till 1am?
