This year ESP Promotions celebrate 25 years in dance. Born from the acid house rave days back in the late 80's
we bought you some unforgettable nights, from our humble beginnings at the Roadmender we went on to
organise some of the biggest, most talked about and influential events of the past two and half decades.
We bought you those infamous nights at Milwaukees where ravers from all over the country came every
fortnight to dance in a hot, sweaty and loud club. We were the first rave organisation who went to Brafield
stadium in Northamptonshire with Weekend World and held "Heaven on Earth" where 30,000 hardcore ravers
danced all night with an open air stage and we would return there 5 years later with Dreamscape 20 "The big
Outdoors" which was voted best rave of 95 by Eternity Magazine, Mixmag and Core Magazine. We also gave you
the first satellite link up between Milton Keynes and Shepton Mallet on New Year's Eve bringing together 30,000
ravers for one night.
Our biggest legacy was the Sanctuary Dance complex in Milton Keynes, not only were we the first organisation
to hold a rave at this legendary venue but we also paid for the construction of extra fire doors in the arena to
increase the legal capacity from 1200 to 4000. A few years later we would make history once again by adding
the Rollers and the Go-Kart Trax warehouses to our events which would take the capacity to 15,000 and be the
start of the 'multi arena' concept in raving. For over a decade the Sanctuary was the Mecca for ravers from all
over the world and if you went raving between 1991 and 2004 you were probably one of the millions of ravers
who passed through those famous glass doors. Our contribution is forever etched in rave history and we are
amongst the Rave Royalty.
To celebrate this monumental achievement in dance events we are returning home where it all started back in
1988 and we have teamed up with our great friends HTID.
Hardcore Til I Die have been organising dance events in the UK for over a decade, they're a veteran of the
world's only 7 day raving holiday "HTID In The Sun" at Club Colossos in Spain which has sold-out for the last 7
consecutive years. There are few areas of the UK that haven't been touched by HTID as they have had sellout
events from the South in Bournemouth to the West in Newquay and Bristol and the North as far as Blackpool and
Glasgow. HTID have also made international appearances in the USA and Australia. HTID is truly a global brand,
which no other promoter has come even close to. It's success can be traced back to the simple fact that they are
continually listening to the ravers and are always seeking to fine tune their events to give the ravers what they
want most. They have set the blue print for others to follow on how hardcore events are organised.
Together we will host a very special summer gathering to celebrate 25 years in dance bringing you a mix of the
old with the new. Dreamscape will do what we do the best, bringing you the Old Skool from 1988 to 2002, whilst
HITD will take you from 2002 up to the present day. Come and join us on this musical journey through time and
space.
