I think we're enough people active on this site so we can try to have a gathering, and I've never managed to get to one of the older ones before, so...

... what are your plans this summer?

Everyone year someone tries to organize it, some more successful than others. Always good to do it months ahead of time rather than having ppl scrambling at the last minute to fit it into their schedule.

I'm possibly looking into making a week in London in the fall possible, but not a guaranteed of course.

I remember someone doing it, but I think it was just before I started traveling :P

I was thinking of mostly a general meet up, maybe a bbq somewhere? I'm not good at planning, but I have no problem with expenses.

Did anyone go to those football/soccer gatherins aswell?

Yeah by far the best idea. All meet-ups are generally done at raves which are terrible for socialising.

What would be a good place to go? Close to London, or as MAtt suggested 2-3 years ago, somwhere in the lake district?

I'm well aware it's been done before you bitchy slag (I've had many discussions with Matt about the camping one he attended). I was just saying that nothing came of the last half-effort I made. And not in a "Fcuk everyone" kind of way. It's just a testament to how difficult these things are to get done. The massive, massive first hurdle is the date and location.
