He could have made it so much better. Such a huge cop out, after that build up, I fucking knew it was gonna go minimal but that was just ridiculous. I'd expect much better from Styles. Atrocious remix.
I don't even know if 'Gammmer' could fix it.
On the plus side I didn't see the word 'sick' used in the comments yet.

Wow this is fucking awful. And y'all have some messed up ears, because the build-up is not even all that great! It's pretty much almost the exact same buildup as the original, but worse.
I love the original, and I think it's one of those tracks that just cannot be touched and redone.

I swear to god I heard some whisper of We Killed The Rave (Modulate Remix) of twitter a couple years ago. Not sure if that was ever really a thing, but he's the only producer I would trust to remix this song properly.
THIS remix on the other hand is a ****ing god awful joke. I'm hoping there's at least a proper second drop that we can just cut into the build up like I'm sure everyone did with Andy Whitby & Klubfiller - Bakk Off.

Extremely disappointing remix from DS. Would have expected much better from him. I always thought the original was hugely over-rated but it sounds amazing in comparison to this. When I first seen styles had remixed this tune I expected it to be a melodic remix, not this minimalistic pish that sounds like it was knocked up in 10 minutes.

Can this big room fad just die already it was cool a year ago. Styles is a talented man who makes good music to this day but this is horrible. I honestly don't know how some of these big producers can still export these 170bpm ripoffs of Sandro Silva's "Epic" from their DAWs with a straight face. I love the original. Bad move Darren.
It also makes me sad that it seems like the bigger guys in the scene are just trying way too hard to be mainstream or trendy. Following trends doesn't make you known making good music does.
Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe Styles is trolling and just made this for the hell of it. Keep in mind this will be on the Muffin Music album and Muffin music is notorious for releasing tracks that are strange and that you wouldn't really hear in the main room at a rave.

The second drop does everything you expect it to do, the first one is pretty poor. Judge it properly once you have hear the full track!

I'm also not generally one to badmouth music I don't like, but this was just unbelievable.
I'll reserve further judgement until I've heard the rest of the track. If the rest of the track does indeed live up to his usual standard then fair enough - but it would be a strange clip if it does build up into something a little more exciting. I'm preparing for disappointment so let's see how it goes.
