He's only gone and won the HTID boot camp competition!
Main room Megarave business next month.
Anyone who has heard his mixes, or been fortunate to see him live will know how much he deserves it. A victory for talent, instead of the usual who spams the most/has the most mates rubbish.

Thats how it should be! Ive just been entering a lot of dj comps in Hawaii recently that are revolved around popularity contest and not skill. And also don't hide in the background I wanna be friends :D

We can still be friends ;)
I just want to stay in the background since alot of people (atleast in the Hardcore scene) kinda dislike people who use computers to mix. I do use a Pioneer Ergo DDJ when I mix so i dont rely to much on the computer itself, but it's still not like a real set with decks and a proper mixer.
Ben is definitly a good DJ, and thankfully he doesn't rely heavily on skills/tricks to make a good set. Tracklist is better than prowess if you ask me.

I have no more technical ability than 90% of DJs out there. I just try to make my tracklists and mixing style count.
Oh and by the way, I gave in and lost my integrity by setting up an 'artist page' on Facebook.

Watch out for the Claxton & AoS collabs ;)
The one that's happening now is going really well. Really hoping the vocalist can record this weekend so the track can be finished, get a proper mixdown & master etc. Then he can drop it on Friday at the HU event ;)
