afternoon everyone

thought i would say hi. iv been an avid follower of hardcore since 95 so almost 20 years and finally stared to produce it too but never signed up to this site so thought i would.

heres a very quick question - Quest, who produced 'Images of you', does anyone know anything about that producer?

I have a few records of him her them but don't know anything about them. force and styles kindly sent them to me back in 1997/8 when I asked for work experience with them. how kind

Matt

good detective work, they did some great tunes. Images of you is one of my all time fav's. how strange they only did a few. i thought it might have been someone else under a different name.

I agree, would have been really good to hear some more from them - quite a mature sound with a nice trancey edge for that era!

They made some amazing records. Shame that one half of them passed away some time ago now. :(

I always thought it was Hixxy, haha.

Their "Reach For Love" was so ahead of its time, it really sounded like something from 2004-2005.

I used to think it was a Force & Styles alias.
Totally agree about Reach For Love being ahead of it's time, same with Images Of You.

Images of You is one of the greatest tracks ever written. It was so ahead of it's time compared to most of the Happy Hardcore being made throughout 1998. Great memories of Breeze playing this at one of the Helter Skelter's during the fall of aforementioned year.

Welcome to HH.com mate :)

Yes, the Quest releases were some of the highlights of UK Dance. I'm always impressed by how prescient they were.

Wow I always thought they were a Force and Styles alias.. Hardcore was not at it's strongest point then but there were some amazing productions comming out still.
