Great opportunity for the bedroom DJs out there and the people itching to play at a big party!
♫ HTID Concept - Bootcamp ♫
Submissions for Bootcamp are now open and this time around we're doing things differently. Your mixes will be screened by HTID then the short listed mixes will be submitted to some the biggest artists in our scene. There are four time slots across our three arenas which means we need submissions from the following styles of Hardcore:
1 x Up front UK Hardcore (Being judged by Fracus & Darwin
1 x Freeform (Being judged by DJ Thumpa)
1 x Gabba (Being Judged by Destructive Tendencies)
1 x Noughties 2000-2009 (Being judged by D-Ice & Reality)

✪ Please email your submission to [email protected] with the relevant genre in the subject

HTID Concept Gabba Submission
HTID Concept Noughites Submission
✪ Do not submit your entries direct to the artists pages/profiles anything submitted to them will not be counted
✪ Please ensure your mixes duration is 45 minutes, just over/under time is acceptable
✪ Please split your submission into individual tracks, you can use http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
there are many tutorials on YouTube that can show you how to split tracks using this freeware quickly
✪ Do not submit Soundcloud or any other type of streaming links as they will not be counted
✪ Please only use the following file transfer sites
We transfer
Drop box (direct downloads not sharing folders)
Google
Windows files
The closing date is February 28th. We look forward to hearing your demo's once again.

Not only that but he's played at some larger events too hasn't he? I think this is mostly for the relatively unknown DJs.
And love that Fracus & Darwin are there as judges! I hope this is an indication that the mainstream side of hardcore is finally noticing how valuable an asset they and their label are!

I highly doubt that I will be able to enter/win. They will be wanting to give opportunities to as many people as possible I would imagine which is fantastic.
Haaa Steven. Trust me, I'm still a complete unknown in the world of UK Hardcore. In fact, there are people who are far bigger names than I who I would still consider complete unknowns. Although, I have been blessed with some of the bookings I have received :)

How do they have to be mixed? Live from CDs/USB/Vinyl etc on actual decks - can somebody submit from VirtualDJ , Djay on an iPhone or similar?
Sadly for me, I don't have the nads to DJ in front of a crowd :(

Mix it however you want, but unless you want to DJ in front of hundreds / thousands of people then there's probably not much point entering.

I presume you're limited to 1 genre for the demo, but if you do win, I don't think you will have the same limit

I meant like, am I allowed to submit more than 1 demo, as in 1 demo for upfront, 1 demo for naughties, 1 demo for freeform?
