Welcome to the boards spilozsomer. Sound like you are having the same problem I am. Promoters just won't book hardcore. Maybe it's time to start throwing some parties of our own???

yeah we have the same problem here as well.
If I were you, I'd throw a free party on the beach. It's a good way to start a scene coz people have nothin to loose since they don't have to pay. That way you can see if it's worth doin' full on parties, depending on the crowd & vibe that you get. If there's nothin', you gotta start it
