I'm gonna have to say Hixxy...sorry chaps but i feel he always has his fingers on the pulse of hardcore...he's creatin and re-creatin the scene all the time and his mixing cant b flawed. I think Sy's scratchin is great but I'm not into it as much as all you die-hard old skool fans!

Both deserve big respect for what they've done for the scene over the years but Sy just pips it for me.
It's funny how the choice of MC's on live sete can make a difference too - There's always something special about Hixxy & Sharkey and Sy & Storm sets (particularly those from years back)

I can remember plenty of occasions in the past where Hixxy's mixing and track selection have been a bit over ambitious, the main problem being too many tracks being cut short before they really got going - more mixes = more chance of a cock-up. Plus, i like scratching in sets (the music, not myself!)
And before you ask - no, i probably couldn't do better!!

I have to say Sy. His scrtaching is excellent and he has good track selection, really knows how to put a set together.
