i thought hardstyle was a type of hard trance? hardstyle is slower than hard house is it not?

hehe hardstyle is like a mix of hard house, hard trance, and gabber. It is about the same speed as hard house.

I just call it "crap".

Man I hate that word "progressive" it does not mean anything... it's like saying yeah it's techno music... it is that general.
We actually have one set of hardstyle on the hardcore station, see how it goes :)

The hardstyle I've heard sounds like a cross between hard trance and gabber. It's probably the only kind of trance I can listen to for any significant period of time.

I think perhaps I should give it a go. Probably hear it then realize I own some. Any way like its been said I groove to some disco funk so chances are it won't offend me that much. Have to agree with hating 'prog' as a genre title,
It like progressing from where? to where? Non-sensical at best.
