Noticed that one of the notifications on FB said that the Ravers Ibiza page changed its name to "Ravers Reunited a." The "a" is not a typo they added that more than likely as not to confuse it to the original Ravers Reunited page. With this name change I think it could be an indication that Ravers Ibiza is no more.
Wouldn't really surprise me if the event is donezo. I've heard absolutely nothing about the event aside from the few posts from the FB page during the event. I've seen no pictures of the event, no one on my friends list posting about the event, and not even DJs that were scheduled to play said much about it.
I even talked to one DJ in PHX (not gonna name him) who cancelled his appearance because he feared the lack of interest for the event would screw up all the gigs there and would have been cut back to just one night. Probably for the better since that would cause him to lose money on the trip and not even break even. He even mentioned the attendance didn't break triple digit numbers, that's hilarious if that's true lol. I guess there's a bit of karma for screwing over HTID ITS last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if this year was the last.
But are you actually pro hardcore or what?
"Hilarious"?
Do you actually like hardcore or hope the best for hardcore?

Always thought it was a daft idea to have another overseas hardcore event at a time when attendances are at such a low point. It was always going to be tough for them to compete against a well established annual event like ITS so I can't say I'm surprised, particularly as HTID have got their act together recently.

I've always wanted to go to ibiza. well, the bit of me that is 15-years-old-who-watched-kevin-and-perry.
I get the feeling it wouldn't be quite the same as they made it out in the movie .

No. No its not. Still worth a visit mind but man is it pretentious! Its basically headed in the same direction as dance music in general.
Which was why I was very close to heading back when I heard about the ravers are shindig but we headed for Mexico instead which was probably for the best.
I dont understand why this thread is aimed at its lack of popularity as a good thing, for many reasons. Most notably, its variation within such a close knit scene. It was also a breath of fresh air for Ibiza. I would have definitely got out to it at some point.

I don't see it as a good thing overall for hardcore, although I've always thought Keyes was a bit of a twat and it's nice to see him brought back down to earth. I think the promoters seen an opportunity with the HTID in the sun numbers falling and thought they could capitalise by offering something different. Not such a bad idea, however the falling numbers at HTID in the sun were a reflection of the scene in general rather than the event itself.
On the positive side it was probably a big factor in HTID giving themselves a well overdue kick up the arse. I was in magaluf for some of ITS this summer and it had drastically improved from my last trip to lloret in 2013, attendance was still fairly low though.
