Its bi-monthly, and you just missed one (17th May - Instinct vs Elation)
Also, check out whats on @ North (Tib Street) and pop into Spin Inn (also on Tib street, opposite Aphleck's) to check out flyers and stuff.
You've also got a fair bit of Old School.... usually at the Academy, and if you head over to Wigan you've got "Back To the Old School" at Maximes (if its still on).
If your not fussed about it being hardcore/old school, the bars on Deansgate are a pretty good bet, or if you fancy slumming it with the student crowd (and who wouldn't at 99p a shot!!!) then check out whats on at Man Met
