Excellent DJ's and artists
loads of fun and interesting deco (deco can be interactive too!)
happy people
a good vibe
no fights
an interesting setting
water (jacuzi, pool, fountains, waterfalls, showers)
a bouncy castle
nice weather
long lasting (a few days min. would be nice)

A good party needs Dance Dance revolution pads (imported). You can connect them up to turntables if you want... I've tried it (without turntables though) and the lines to have a go at drunken DDR were huge - best party ever.
