I think it is time I started work on Hardbooted 2. After the first one was released, it was suggested that I use this site as a hub for the project, I did not think of it because I am not a regular here. This time I am going to make this thread be the central hub for the project.
For those of you that do not know, Hardbooted is a spiritual successor to the Hardcore Producer albums. The hardcoreproduer.org forum kind of died off, but I wanted to create an album series similar to Hardcore Producer. I wanted to bring bring the spirit of them back, an awesome free to download album showcasing great hardcore from talented producers. The last Hardbooted was a success, it currently has over 440 downloads.

I want to shoot for a Halloween release, with the track submission deadline being October 9th. So that will give people just over 2 months to get tracks in. Since it will be a Halloween release, I am going to go with a black and orange color scheme for the artwork. However, I don't want it to be too Halloween themed, I would like it to not be a gimmicky Halloween only album. Though, since it is a Halloween release, Gabber is encouraged 
I think I will be a little tighter on the quality control this time and maybe less tracks. The reason for less tracks is, I am thinking of using Createspace to make a physical CD this time. So, I don't want there to end up being too many tracks that it won't fit on one disc. Though, I am not sure about the Createspace CD idea. If I decide to not create a physical CD, the album can be super long 
The album will be released for free download on Bandcamp and possibly an on demand CD from Createspace. Bootlegs and unofficial remixes are fine, but I encourage original tracks. There is a 2 track limit per producer. Please submit tracks in 24 bit .WAV if possible, 16-bit is acceptable, but 24-bit is preferred. Absolutely no .MP3 submissions. I will be mastering the tracks myself if they are not already mastered. I will also be doing the artwork, I will ask One-Point if he wants to help like last time.
If you are a producer please consider consider submitting a track. Also, if you have Hardcore producing buddies, please tell them about this project.
Start Date: August 1st, 2016
Deadline: October 9th, 2016.
Projected Release: October 31st, 2016.
Genres Allowed: Pretty much anything that can be considered a form of Hardcore.

For some clarification on the 2 track limit. It is limited to 2 tracks produced by one producer, so if someone remixes one of your original songs, it will be counted as one track for the remixer, not you.

I should note, please avoid remixing other Hardcore artist's songs unless you have permission, especially bigger Hardcore artists. For example: I don't want somebody remixing a Scott Brown song and then have that be on the album. It would like like Scott Brown endorses it and that could lead to drama I would rather not have.
