So I was just watching the quick look for Pacman: Championship Edition 2 for PS4/XB1/PC and was quite delighted to hear some hardcore (probably J-Core) playing on the soundtrack. I also noticed that Son Of A Gun film with that 90's track a couple weeks ago, and that rhythm games frequently feature hardcore tracks .. Just wondering what other films and video games have some kind of hardcore on the soundtrack. I've seen some art house flicks with gabber playing, and eeeearly 90's hardcore is sometimes played as generic rave music, but what other media does HC pop up in?

Also Silver - I know you had said on here that you did the scoring for that SoaG film and are the reason that HC tune is in there .. Are you responsible for hardcore being in any other media?

Men Behaving badly once had an episode where they went to a rave with a few tracks in it, Top Gear also had an episode with some Scott Brown tracks like Commence and stuff in

I can't believe I forgot that. One of my favourite shows of all time.

There was an old arcade game, possibly Ridge racer, that had the breakdown section of clearly by dream sequence in it, the part that days hardcore is the future.

There is a British gangster film called Hackneys Finest I remember briefly had a hardcore track in.
Just had a look, and it's this:

Not strictly a hardcore track but the end music to the film short circuit half counts because it was made into (I think stompy did it) the anthem follow me.

I remember, perhaps about 15 years ago, some kids show. Perhaps not a kids show per se, maybe just a feature focusing on one child, about 9 years old, what he does at school, his hobbies etc etc. Some bubbly chatty presenter, most probably, I can't remember what the program was, it was just on while I was in the room.
Anyway, out of nowhere the drop from Slipmatt's remix of 'Higher Love' blasted out. It looked like the kid was tidying his room and they made a mission out of it, camera panning everywhere and fast motion and the like, and after a few seconds it was back to normal. No other music like it in the show.
Some details might be wrong but the general gist is there, and it was definitely that tune.
Also on some show like GMTV or something, about 1995, a feature showed a bunch of dodgy looking schoolboys with some proper generic mid 90s bouncy rave music, not so much happy hardcore, it was moody and a bit dark. The video was all black and white, trying to make the kids look suspicious and raising awareness of glue sniffing or some shit like that.
I hope the perfect descriptions I've given here are clear enough.
