"DUNE (Hardcore Vibes, Cant Stop Raving, Milllion Miles From Home, Are You Ready To Fly...) is back and reborn with a fresh personal release, following a new direction and more harsh than ever! Oliver Froning is the man behind this legendary 90's act, who's running a big amount of gigs playing out in big festivals worldwide such as Tomorrowland, Mayday 2016, HTID and seems to be having a crazy year in overall.
'Magic Carpet Ride' is his brand new digital single release, which is a 168bpm Hardcore Techno stormer aiming to blind you and sweat you on the dancefloor! Great atmospheric female vocals and hard kicking bass is this new dish by Oliver!
Show some love and support to this first installment of Raw Productions!"

Thanks a lot for sharing this news. Meke!
I had deeply appreciated to notify the official comeback of Dune, although it is still unknown how the case at the court regarding right of name is going to pan out between Oliver Froning and Bernd Burhoff.
I have really enjoyed spending hours to listen to the variety of different styles of several remixes, which have been produced during an official remix battle regarding this track. To my opinion these remixes are much more enjoyable than the rather electro-based original:
1) Dune - Magic Carpet Ride (Jason Hero Remix)
This remix is based on the old-school sound of Happy Hardcore, which simply combines every f**king details why I deeply love this genre (Breakbeat, 4 to the floor, piano hook lines, catchy vocals, etc).
2) Dune - Magic Carpet Ride (DJ Killer's Rave Remix 2016)
This one seems to sound perfect for all the lovers of the harder style, which is compareable to the early sounds of Gabba (f. e.: at the Tunderdome releases).
3) Dune - Magic Carpet Ride (Outer Kid Remix)
Pure breakbeat lovers are probably going to love this remix!
\o\ /o/ \o\ /o/ -o- ~o~ -o- ~o~
At the end this track seems to have much potential that I almost forgot about the lame sound of their second release after Dune's comeback:
Dune - Starchild (Chapter One - First Contact)
I don't want drag this track down at all, because it sounds much more better that 99% of the Electro-crap, which has been released since the early 2000ths and I have alway prefered the melancholic tracks of Dune. But at the end this track simply seems to be a more rapid sound of today's most commercially successful electronical music.

Also, Didn't know there was a fight over the Dune name. I thought Oliver was the front man anyways.

Hi Jacek,
You'll never stop me lurking into the rave scene as long as I don't register interesting developments. And yes, I was kind of misssing all of you forum members, although my last appearance turned out to deveastating comeback, simply becoming the next troll of the Rave Scene.
Well this fight was the first news I noticed after checking out this new release of Dune! I deeply hope that both of these idiots are going to fix their bull crap instead of dragging down this scene although barely anyone is able to gain much profit out of it...
