So, why exactly is Hixxy not there anymore. I understand that because of the venue change, prices had to be slashed but why hixxy....why hixxy.

yea, this is ridiculous.....you'll have 1 less hardcore lovin person at wemf this year kuz I've been waitin to see hixxy for years....that really sucks ass bigtime....wut a HUGE disappointment.....at least i'll save money.

hixxy wasnt the only one on the chopping block.
Fade (who was playing a second set under the name Dave Nation on the trance stage), and Lenny Dee were also cut from the lineup.
And apparently omar santana was never booked at all.
the hardcore stage got seriously dumped on, while the jungle and trance stages suffered only very minor cuts.
this is the biggest load of crap ive ever seen.
ah well.
at least we've still got sharkey!!

Big time BOOOurns, I've never been a big fan of Sharkey and it was seeing Hixxy on the lineup that totally jumpstatred my enthusiasm. What the hell is with the indoor venue, what the hell is going on.

From information I recieved there are indoor and outdoor areas.

that information is correct sir.
the outdoor stages run during the day, and the indoors at night.
the hardcore stage generally doesnt start running til 9 pmish, which means there most likely wont be an outdoor stage.
rumor has it the hardcore stage will be in the smallest of the indoor rooms.
now thats a lot of suck right there.

If that kinda fcuk up happened in this country the promoters ( i know nuthink to do wiv u silver ) wud be seriously hounded! i meen changing venues, cutting lineups!?!?! WTF!!

the reason for the venue change is legit.
the town it was originally slated to take place in decided not to allow the festival to take place this year. so Destiny (the promoters) had to go to their back up plan.
apparently their back up venue costed quite a bit more to get, as every stage got three headliners cut.
its not really the promoter's fault...
but they could've been smarter about it.
like realizing that the trance stage doesnt need to go 24/7 for three days, and drop a couple extra headliners off there, instead of completely ruining the hardcore lineup.
