Been done to death on here. Personally, I think the guy is a wanker but good luck to him.
His older tunes, both solo and his collabs with Dougal in particular, formed part of the soundtrack to my younger years and Ill always be grateful for that. Ive also had some of the best nights of my life going mental on the dance floor with Gammer behind the decks. He is free to do whatever he wants but I wish hed go about it differently without all of this victim ******** he likes to peddle.
He obviously wants **** all to do with the UK hardcore scene and thats fine but be a bit more professional about it - Hardcore gave him the platform to get to where he is today. Likewise, hardcore fans who dont like his new stuff also need to let go.

I remember Gammer first coming on to the scene... A normal every day chap who Dougal took under his wing and taught him everything he needed to start producing some genuine great tracks under Muffin Music (so named because he really liked muffins). Unfortunately because of his success and growing fanbase his head began to swell and after winning a few awards he dropped his mentor Dougal and decided to go solo. He then saw the success Darren Styles was having in the slow clap hardstyle scene and followed him like a little lost puppy. This isn't the first time Gammer has produced hardstyle though as he has produced under his real name Matt Lee. This begs the question of why he would use his Hardcore stage name to play hardstyle/edm though seeing as the person that gave him the Gammer name was Dougal. We have watched him go from everyday Mathew to some embarrassing swagger man and it is painful to watch. Calvin Harris he is not.

It didn't help that once he made his change, he called his listeners narrow minded for liking his old music but not his new stuff.

He is technically one of the most talented when it comes to djing skills. Freakishly good which is an asset in itself.
Only other big Hardcore names I saw at his level live was Kevin Energy & Joey Riot. I'm talking beat juggling, cutting, sampling, scratching. Sy & Slipmatt were great scratchers too back in the day.

For pure mixing ability, Brisk is another.
