What are your thought on a commercial hardcore single? Personally I think it's great advertisement for hardcore and like Silver said. Will bring a lot of new fans to the hardcore scene. The underground hardcore sounds will still be around and this is just another angle hardcore it taking.
Don't know why he is running from two such hot babes though, maybe he's trying to lead them to a hotel room perhaps... but glad he makes his mind up in the end to stay with them lol.... Wonder if he chooses the women. The dudes got good taste!

Is that Dougal on the decks in the video?
Personally I hate the video. Those two skanky whores take up too much screentime. And them lip-syncing to a male voice just looks disturbing!!! I understand why Darren runs from them, I would too! |

Its basically a shite video to plug CEH5! on Clubland TV! they tend to play videos of tracks that are on soon to be released albums! even if they are shite! lets face it the track is, and he vid is shite! |

I think promoting hardcore is cool 'n all, but it seems like the whole commercialcore scene is promoted solely by hot chicks with hardly any clothes on.
Granted, they wouldn't be able to promote it contentwise, but all the hotchick pinups just attract more chavs ;) |

well ATTW don't really give a **** about 'hardcore' the music, they just want to take over the scene and turn it into a goldmine, the chavs are the target audince, doesn't take a rocket scientest to work out they'll sell buckets loads more with the help of a sketty semi-porn music video and a few 'babez' |

A resounding "no" from me. I understand the guy wants to make money, that's fine by me, he can do that with his commercial dance stuff. I don't like commercial hardcore, it just doesn't do it for me. I object to a more mainstream sound being put into Hardcore, that's not what Hardcore is about, it was never meant to be commercial.
I don't buy the argument that it will get more people into Hardcore either. I started off listening to Commercial dance - Floorfillers, Clubland, Big Tunes etc but got into Hardcore because they just didn't cut it for me anymore. I still do listen to that stuff, I just wanted harder and faster music. |
