zarlon BUT SPINNING HARD HOUSE @#!@$@!#

[this isn't just a rumour, it is truth.. :)]

hard house is one of the 'big things' around here, and so i was really suprised to see vinylgroover's name on a flyer for a massive.. but lo and behold, he's spinning hard house..

strangely enough, I've never heard any of his house tracks.. or any house sets, etc, vinylgroover style..

I'm kind of dissapointed, because even if I make it to that party I won't get to hear any of my faves.. any van kids out here??!

*sigh* if I make it to that massive.. maybe vinylgroover will spin some hhc on special request.. if it doesn't clear out the crowd in the main room :(

peace :)

bowzer his last hhc performance in canada was jan26th in toronto. it was a good one too! :D

zarlon Damn it..

More and more reasons to somehow move to T.o keep on springing up..

Wah, too bad I can't convince my parents to go there.. *sigh* Vinylgroover would be an awesome show.

Brian K not sure if i would go so far as to call what vg spins hard house, sounds more like that nu nrg stuff....

"As punishment for your desertion, it's company policy to give you the plague."
virus yea, but VG has done about more than 1 "last hardcore set ever"

DJ STYLUS Is he still spinning happy hardcore then???

Ohhhhh....I miss Wam Bam and Rainfall Down =(

If we cant do it now....When can we do it???
zarlon well, what they had on the flyer was that he was a hard house conneiseur or something along those lines.. They have him down playing hard house..

I guess it depends on your definition of hard house, what most of the partygoers here consider hardhouse would be more nu-nrg and uk hardhouse, really bouncy...

I still wouldn't mind seeing Vinylgroover, just in the hopes that he'll put something happycore related into his set.. i know it's not very likely, but there's still that LITTLE chance, right? [or am I just dreaming? :P]

*sigh* if I want to see happycore, I have to make quite the journey..
seems like I'm going to be taking a trip sometime soon, don't think I can hold out for the music to come to me.. :/

peace :)

Vinylpusher Yes he plays a mix of Hard House/ Nu Nrg and no he no longer makes or produces Happy Hardcore in his words from an interview in mixmag " I havnt seen those lads in ages, it all got a bit stale and we grew appart"

Although he has played a few sets of "old school" since

silver VG does not do hardcore anymore... but hopefully will soon as hardcore sells more than hard house in the UK at the moment....

you, me and hardcore forever.

Sorry man dont mean to be rude but comment is so way off its not funny man. Yes hardcore has picked up again, and this is world wide not just the UK , but there is no way in hell that its even close to having larger sales than hardhouse. Sheer comercialism explains it.

DJ Mouse that's mainly over there in oz though i bet. hard house still sells more here than hardcore, plus it's easier to get a hold of.
but the point i'm making is this, everyone is getting bored of hard house, even one of my mates who regularly spins at sundissential has moved musical styles. and on the other hand, hardcore's taking off here. so sales aren't better.....YET. not in my part of the uk at least

Vinylpusher Ummm ok Mouse maybe you should read abit harder what i wrote is exactly in agreement with you?? go figure

silver VinylPusher: tis cool... but I'm not full of it... hard house sells very poor in the UK at the moment, and yes some (not all) Hardcore (esp. RaverBaby) sells twice or three times that of most (not all) hard house... ask any member of RaverBaby and they will tell you the same thing.

Vinylpusher Ok sorry if i am incorect, from my knowledge i am lead to believe that Hardhouse ocer its entirety sells more than Happyhard/hardcore in England that is all. Not to worry i guess the end result is Vinylgroover is still playing hard house in Vancouver and more people are unhappy hehe =)
