I'd say its unmixed looking at the tracklist and amount on each CD and also its an DJ only release! but as stated before I think one is Hardcore and one will be scouse house!
Mortis What gets me is it's not just DS on the album thought this was billed as a DS artist album.

but Sharkey is doing the same! (when that finally comes out) money talks! money talks! (dirty cash i wan't it dirty cash I need it! ooh!) and that track was from 91ish!

Don't care if Sharkey or anyone else is doing the same, if it's billed as an artist album it really should be just the artist in question if you ask me.

DJ-Intensity I actually like some of the tunes except for the one "Lost The Plot".
Craig Switchback Obviously CD1 is the Hardcore disc, and CD2 is the club disc. CD1 looks like it’s mixed w/ 17 tracks featured, Unless they are edits - which is equally as disappointing.

But bemused at the moment with regards to the tracklisting. Was expecting there to be plenty of new tracks, seeing as the album has taken so long to come to fruition. The album will sell, but once again - looks like Styles can just put out anything.
silver

In case you missed the top page.
Samination I thought it was going to be a personal album aswell, but there's breeze & styles tracks on it.

Well, not that Sharkey's will be a solo album, but I think i'd enjoy that more than this
Craig Switchback Sharkey's album will be great. I believe it's all his tracks, but with remixes from different artists as well. i.e Sharkey - Bonkers Anthem (Al Storm Remix) Which, is sounding class from what i've heard.
Complexion Old songs I heard already dunno why his releasing an albums with songs we heard before? -.-

Craig Switchback Because it will still sell.
DJ-Intensity The tunes what I like...

Flashlight
Come Running
Cutting Deep
Slide Away
Show Me The Sunshine

True but I won't buy it cause I already heard the songs over and over.
DJ-Intensity Haven't heard all of them likes of Discolights, Different Groove and Just Easy to name a few.
Wilky WOW! its got breeze, francis hill and 1 track whith i think is a colab with squad e... not as if its like clubland tho is it?
redwingz i wont be buying it, still waiting for hardcore nation the next generation
DJ-Intensity I won't be getting this either to be honest.
Wilky i will defo be gettin it
95_was_the_time looks like a crock o' shit

Why not? dont think of it as a darren styles cd.. its HARDCORE! that alone should be enough a reason!
JustIncredible I've heard almost all these tracks before. Unlikely i'll be getting it.
dee_licious i will be :)
95_was_the_time track 14 sums up the hardcore scene for me
MAtRiCks I really admire Darren Styles work and love most of the songs on this Album, but thats just it: I know the majority of them already :P

since I already have most of these releases on 12", and this album is unlikely to be in Extended format, there isnt much of a reason for me to be getting this.

I rather buy albums containing only Unreleased ans Upfront material that will eventually be released on 12".
MAtRiCks Has there been an announcement for an eventual digital release? I could buy only the songs I don't know yet this way
latininxtc I will still buy it. A lot of the songs I already have mixed from cds but I always like having unimxed. I do hope that the tracks aren't extremely short like the Dream Dance makes them. Their tracks rarely go beyond 4 minutes.
DJ-Intensity Flashlight is my favourite tune on this CD.

Indeed. :)
dreamowner Heard all the tracks before a million times... i really doubt i'll be getting this.
DJ-Intensity One I've heard the most is Drop Zone.

You would buy a CD just because it's hardcore? :-/ OK.

Wont be getting this, only buy CD's if they have loads of stuff I don't have (& want) on them.

Looks an OK CD though really... CD1 does anyway. ;) Would get bored of it before getting to the end though as it's all the same sort of stuff. I wouldn't be so sure it's unmixed... Unless they're edits it wont be. 6 min is a below average track time and 6 x 17 = more than a CD.

GoBeserk dont think ill buy this
heard all those tunes at least 50 times
phewcharyztik CD 1 is supposed to be all Hardcore and CD 2 was supposed to be in a selection of different styles including Drum & Bass (Specialist Sounds Remix), Chillout (Nitelite Mix), Hard Dance (Sure Feels Good etc)
Both CDs are unmixed and should be the full-length versions. A lot of Darren's latest Hardcore productions have been quite short with quite a few being under 5 minutes so they could all just fit at a squeeze. I think the Remix titles have been missed off quite a few of the tracks on CD 2 but they should be listed in the inlay booklet of the CD.
The Darren Styles artist album and the Sharkey artist album are both being released by All Around The World.
whittle1 Heard 90% of those tracks, shalt give it a pass and save my dough for True Hardcore 2 :P
ijumpfromcars dammit when is flashlight going to be on vinyl

damn right im gunna buy it for just bein hardcore. why dont u?
Wilky if each track is 6 mins then thats 102 mins. im pretty sure you can on fit 80 mins max on a cd unless its a data disk (which this aint). therefore it must be mixed!
DJ-Intensity That Save Me tune how many times are I am gonna hear that.

Clubland X Treme Hardcore 2
Hardcore Heaven 3 Sy & Unknown mix

Few CDs to name where that tune has appeared.

Don't be silly. I buy a CD because it's worth buying. Why buy a Hardcore CD if I'm not going to like it. :-/ "because it's hardcore"... Get lost. I'll get the Hardcore CD's I'm going to like, same with anything I buy.

I like porn but it doesn't mean I'm going to rush out and buy "old people fisting 3" just because it's porn.

mj-dream lol that post made me laugh nice one bulbs old people fisting 3

You didn't? Must have been just me.

The Doc anyone think he'll make the top 100?
raverdeepinside Lke people are saying these tunes have (mostly) been kicking about for ages, and I have the 12" of them, unless its unmixed, the new stuff is worth it and its full tracks (no edits) then I won't be getting it
Mental_Adam is anyone gonna give this one a miss?

Even though i like Darrens early material I.E. (DJ Force & Evolution / Force & Styles)

i won't be buying, i just think it'll end up being like that ultrabeat album what should had come out yonks before it actually came out.
Wilky when a normal singer releases an album the normally release most of the album as singles at some point. in a way this is what styles has done. yes us hardcore heads already have heard or own all these tunes, but the average commercial head hasnt. thats who its aimed at!

You misunderstand... I meant I rush out and buy it because I like it, not just because it's porn... It's my Hardcore Underground. Teen Lesbians soap each other in the bath 27 however, gets completely ignored. Did I word that incorrectly? :-/

From what I have heard everywhere, the tracks will be edits.. No intro/outro etc. Makes sense really being an album that will try and push to a commercial market. TO say his tracks are shorter than 5 min must be nonsense tbh. He uses the same structure as a lot of artists do in most tracks that usually rolls for 6-7 min un-pitched.
DJ-Intensity I think on the second CD most tracks will be two minute ones.
robertybob To quote Steve Kelly from aatw:

"Its an artist album so the tracks will remain in their original form and in the majority of cases the original track is not an extended mix."
bulby_g So what does that mean. :-/ Short radio edits that they're claiming is the original ya? Safe.
DJ-Intensity Hardcore Nation Next Generation is next up on my list.
Craigavon raver i,ve only heard about 5 tracks of this cd (and i can barely remember them lol) but don,t know if i,ll buy it,i,ll def get sharkeys album and scott browns livewired though
StuPollock Excactly You Cant Have Herd Them All .. Its A New Cd

Many artists do this.
The non-DS tracks will be tracks remixed by him, hence being on the album.
As I said, loads do it. Darren Styles, Sharkey, John B, etc etc ...
It's nothing new.
