electrogen Hi, over the past few weeks i have been practicing woth layering. just been looking at sounds and listening and trying out a few techniques and this is what i have.
I would appreciate all feedback but especially on the layering and eq side.
cheers

Hard2Get Sounds good to me. Where is the layering though? A piano and a pad together like this is not what would be meant when the term 'layering' is used normally.
electrogen nooo i know that isnt layering. there is 4 layers on the pad and 3 i think on the keys.

I have a few more on this like just added.

Hard2Get Then i think the fact i couldn't even hear the layers speaks for itself lol. Good job (no, not being sarcastic) :P The opposite of that would be layering things that don't really work together that sound a mess.
electrogen the layering was the top keys for the piano and the 2nd layer is middle keys with middle eq and the keys go differently to the top and bottom layer and the 3rd layer for the keys is the bass kays with middle and low eq and there for the root.
its the same with the pad but i added root a and b bass sub freqs.

i can post the indevidual layers too.
electrogen here they are
