Captain Triceps http://kniteforce-radio.com/
Launching today at 5pm UK time, playing through the night, very strong lineup.

My show will be on Saturdays at 12pm.

Check it out, it's not exclusively breakbeat old skool stuff for anyone wondering. Get involved!
mattpositive I'll admit that, going into the new Kniteforce Radio show/chat I was already super into the first two new Knitebreed releases. I've also always liked Kniteforce as a super good HHC label, but I also considered them a 'force' against the lack of innovation amongst late 90s uk happy hardcore. It's over 15 years later, and after listening to the first hour of the show, it felt like Luna-C and Kniteforce were not only at the top of their game, but had surpassed their older work and were reaching a new level of awesome.

I'm not a fan boy. Historically HHC has let me down just when I thought things were getting better. I'm super critical (in my head at least) of 'old' (90s) labels or DJs who seem to have gotten back in the game just to make money or whatever. Luna-C has already proven in a ton of ways that his projects and labels don't exist just to generate project. But now he's blowing past that and moving into uncharted territory.

What can I say? I'm geeked for what's happening at Kniteforce, and more importantly geeked to see what happens with the community of hhc fans/djs/producers that seem drawn to the feeling that there's something really happening.

Basically I'm saying that if you like HHC, just tune in.

Captain Triceps Cheers for the words!
I was only able to listen in small chunks but it all sounded good. I'm really looking forward to seeing where things go with this.

Whilst I'm banging on about it, if anybody has a track you would like playing, feel free to send them my way. I have a show on Saturdays at 12pm, I don't stick to just one style so if its any kind of rave music chuck it my way :)

Samination how about an hour of japanese hentai gabber? :)
Captain Triceps Thanks for the bump.
Bring Me Round To Love Nice to hear 94/95 tunes again and the (New) Old Skool Kniteforce sound, bringin the fun back into the music again.
Samination It's been around forever
Captain Triceps It has been around forever, but has been an under-represented sound, at least in the hardcore scene. How many of the big raves play this stuff? It's often new UK hardcore or actual old skool, apart from a handful of DJs here and there who drop the occasional track.
It's unbelievable how many people I've mentioned Kniteforce to who were almost unaware altogether that the sound was still being made - that's not to mention the countless other labels releasing similar music - and what's more - ON VINYL. People saying they are bored with modern hardcore and yearning for the sounds of old - we are still doing it, you just haven't found us yet.

And Kniteforce Radio won't just be playing Kniteforce music - there are DJs from across the board playing all kinds of rave music. I will play everything, from the latest promos to old classics, from happy hardcore to freeform to bouncy techno and rave breaks. Lowercase has a 2 hour promo show playing all the latest and forthcoming tracks, mostly breakbeat but usually a good whack of modern sounding hardcore too. You have the likes of Ponder, Dave Skywalker, Saiyan, Alk-E-D, Clayfighter, global megastars like Brisk and Scar, the main man himself Luna-C - and the list is still growing. There will be more known names added to the roster in the near future - in fact as I was typing this Thumpa has been taken on board!
The chat on the radio page is great fun, witty and often insightful.
Essentially - there is something there for everyone, and if you love hardcore - get behind this.
Captain Triceps If anyone here is interested my show is today, 12-2 UK time - so starts in about 15 minutes :)
