Alright chaps and chapettes.
Just a quick one to let you know I've set-up a cheeky little site. It's nothing major - all very basic. Just covers general news within hardcore, track and album releases, DJ mixes and free-track give-aways whenever they come along (all downloadable - links within each entry/post).
There's a Useful Links section which (still a work in progress, barely half done I would think) has already got over a hundred links to label sites, artist and label SoundCloud sites etc. I'll be including Faceook channels and YouTube channels in the very near future. Nothing especially new, just a pretty heft, centralized list of useful sites.
I'm not expecting it to get especially big or anything, but I'll update it at least a couple of times a day. Just have a quick visit every now and then for a little snap shot of what I think's relevant at the moment.
Any suggestions, feedback etc - totally welcome. First thing like this I've ever tried, and I'm a total noob, so don't be too hard on me.

P.S. I'm in the process of registering a domain, so that the 'wordpress' will be dropped from the domain.

Update:
I've managed to sort out the domain situation now - so the shitty 'wordpress' part has disappeared.
Also made some adjustments to the Useful Links section.

To be honest mate, the lack of news on this main page is a factor in why I decided to it. Don't get me wrong, it's not a "Fcuk you!" to this site, by any means, and it's obviously never going to be this site's competition - that was never my intention, and it's never going to happen. I just love hardcore - love listening to it, love reading about it, love prowling for new mixes and free tracks - so why not put all those things into one worthwhile effort - instead of doing it to just fill up my iPod? And if I end up helping people discover stuff they wouldn't ordinarily have done - then I'm going to be really pleased!

Yeah sure, I see your point :) But perhaps it's the lack of news-writers which is the problem here on HappyHardcore.com, I guess we need more people helping. Sure that's all up to Silver if we wants people helping him or not, but as far as I know he's open for every support that comes :) |

Yeah, well, this is all very topical. I think Mortis has PM'd Silver about the official way to submit news for the site. Once we know, maybe we can all start pitching in? I'd be happy to! |

Sup girls. Just posted this on my the fan page for the site. I know a handful of you on here check out the site, and I thought it was worth letting people know that the site is gradually getting back to working condition.
"Slowly creeping towards 500 likes, not a bad little number. Thank you, all you Hardcore Hunks and Hotties.
In other news, the rehabilitation of the site continues at a frightening pace/miserable place. Leaving aside the individual blog posts, all of the static links on the site (Track Archive, Live Sets, Mixes, specialist pages etc) are now repaired.
The YouTube channel is still pretty lively, and I'm gradually adding new material to the "2013 - Part II" Track Archive page.
I realise I'm pushing my luck with these mini/not-so-mini hiatuses, but I do really appreciate anyone who's ever paid attention to the site, and I hope it can still continue to be useful to a modest number of people in the future." |

A good initiative, Jay. Thanks for bringing it back to our attention (I must admit I forgot about it after updates seemed to stall). I used to keep tabs on freebies through Kraftyradio's homepage but that seems to be on hiatus as well.

Girls and boys, I'm 18 subscribers away from 1,000 on the Hardcore Highlights YouTube channel. Be super-sweet to hit the 1,000 mark. Quite proud, actually!

Starting to upload more live-sets and mixes these days, as well as the free tunes. And I feel the general quality of tracks on there is improving. Over 800 uploads, and I would estimate that consists of at least 700 free tracks. Pretty decent little resource. :-)

Had a surge of about 600 subscribers on the YouTube channel in about three months, so thought I better pull my finger out and add a bit more content. There's a 2014 page on the site now, as well. I undoubtedly won't be able to keep it up (wheeeey) but I'll do odd bits now and again.
