I?m looking to come up with a producer name. Any advice? I?m looking for something preferably 1 word long. Not asking for name ideas just interested in how all of the other producers came up with their names.

Mission accomplished. I came up with the name after looking up English words in Japanese. I wanted something Japanese because a lot of things in my life I enjoy come from Japan. Then I took 2 Japanese words I liked the meaning of and put them together. Checked and it?s not an already used name. That was a lot easier than I thought.
If you still want to share how you came up with you?re name I?m still interested to hear how.

I don't know if he had thought of using it, but I called DJ Bounce "Scott Bounce" once (In a way DJ Storm became Al/Alistair Storm later on). And later he started using Scott Bounce as an artist name. :P
What was the Japanese name you came up with?

I?ll reveal when I finish the Don?t Go remix. Want to get the accounts for it before revealing it.
I also need to make sure it doesn?t mean anything offensive. Just in case.

I started studying the science of digital audio and came across a fascinating topic called the impulse response. That's where my name came from.
I haven't produced much though so I don't know if it counts as a producer name.

my dj name came from Samus Aran, but I can't remember where the -nation bit came into play.

My Surnames Carvill, Karvo is how people at home (Scotland) pronounce it lol. simple

Thanks for the responses I scrapped the name idea I had. When I woke up the next day and looked at it I thought it?s the worse thing I ever heard  I?ll keep searching.
